As we mark the 36th year of our inspiring educational journey, which began modestly in 1988, we take immense pride in the milestones we have achieved. Today, Sevaniketan School stands as a beacon of excellence, cherished by students, parents, and teachers alike. With a vibrant community of 909 learners, our success is a testament to the vision and guidance of our management, who have continually inspired every stakeholder to pursue excellence with dedication and purpose.

The Managements leadership, experience, and foresight bring renewed energy to our institution. Committed to fostering academic excellence, cultural enrichment, and spiritual growth, they are poised to drive positive changes, ensuring that our school continues to thrive as a hub of holistic education and
innovation.

Achieving academic excellence remains our foremost goal, and we take immense pride in our exceptional results in the Central Board of Secondary Education examinations, complemented by outstanding achievements in co-curricular activities.

Our Student Council members were meticulously trained to become impactful leaders, while students of Class 10 received comprehensive guidance in study techniques, equipping them to confidently face and excel in the board examinations.

This ethos was exemplified by our Class 10 students who appeared for the 2023-24 Board examinations and achieved remarkable results, with the school securing 100% success.

Out of 74 students,

24 students passed with Distinction,45 students passed with First Class,5 students passed with Second Class
We are delighted to announce our School Topper,
Ms. Nikitha Sarika Prakash who secured an outstanding 96.3%,
followed by
Ms. Manvitha B Gowda in second place with 94.5%.

To achieve academic excellence, Lions School believes in personalized support through specialized remedial sessions by our teachers for one hour after the school ensuring inclusivity and addresses unique learning needs of the slow learners.

In addition to academics, we take pride in nurturing discipline, leadership, and patriotism through our NCC unit, which remains a cornerstone of character-building among our students.

A key highlight of the year was hosting prestigious interschool competitions, attracting participation from 25 to 30 schools across Mysore. These events showcased exceptional talent and sportsmanship, with notable activities including:
Patriotic Song singing Competition was hosted with great enthusiasm on 10th August, resonated with melodies of patriotism, the competition saw participation from various schools and students showcased their vocal talents and love for the nation

Darshan Memorial Volley ball and Throwball Tournament
was held on 31 st ,August, this prestigious tournament Brought together talented players from various schools participating for Volley Ball 32 schools and Throw ball 24 schools.

We hosted the Lions Quest competitions on 7th December, where students from schools across the city demonstrated their general knowledge across various fields.

Lion’s Sevaniketan students have excelled in various interschool competitions, earning significant accolades.

  • Rohith Jevoor, a Grade 9 student, represented Karnataka in national-level air pistol shooting. He also showcased his talent in the Mini Olympics, securing three medals in the Dasara and Tumkur championships.
  • Anwita Sai G S, a Grade 6 swimming champion, represented Karnataka in national-level swimming competitions. In November 2024, she participated in the FINS swimming competition held in Delhi, where she won one gold and three silver medals.

The All-India Swachh Bharat Art Competition, organized by the National Education and Human Resource Development Organisation and National Economic Growth Times, encouraged student participation in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

From our school, 184 students participated, with 7 receiving outstanding performance awards and 24 winning gold medals. Principal was honoured with the ‘Inspiring Principal Award’, and the teacher coordinators received the ‘Inspiring Teacher Award’ for their exceptional efforts.

These achievements highlight the dedication and talent of our students in their respective sports.

We are incredibly proud of these accomplishments and extend our gratitude to all students, staff, and stakeholders for making this year truly remarkable.
Lion’s Sevaniketan offers abundant opportunities and a nurturing platform for children to showcase their innate talents across various activities.

First Parent Orientation for Grade 10 was Conducted soon after the first periodic assessment on 20th July , this session emphasized the importance of strategic preparation for board exams , PA-1 results were analyzed, highlighting areas of improvement while fostering a strong school-parent partnership.

Parent Orientation Program for Kindergarten students was held on 3rd August, the session enlightened parents on conscious parenting practices.

Celebrations:

World Environment Day was Celebrated on 5th June with engaging activities, including a rally through Gokulam to raise environmental awareness and encouraged students to actively advocate for sustainable practices and environmental conservation. Our students made seed balls and a tree planting programme was also organized.

International Yoga Day was Celebrated on 21st June, students demonstrated various yogasanas with remarkable flexibility and poise, highlighting the importance of physical and mental well-being. The event reinforced the value of yoga in promoting a balanced and healthy lifestyle among students.

Children’s Day was celebrated on 14th November with great joy and enthusiasm. To make the day memorable, our teachers showcased their affection for the students by performing a delightful dance drama. Their lively and heartfelt performance not only entertained the students but also highlighted the special bond shared between teachers and their beloved learners. It was a day filled with fun, laughter, and cherished
memories.

Hindi Week was Observed from 14th September, the week celebrated the cultural richness and versatility of Hindi through engaging activities that deepened students’ linguistic and literary appreciation

Held on 21st November, the event provided a platform for parents and students to collaborate on innovative working models, blending creativity with hands-on learning and enthusiasm.

The school takes immense pride in celebrating and documenting the achievements of the students who have brought glory by excelling in competitions at city, district, state, and national levels.
This academic year, around 130 students have added to the school’s legacy of excellence. Their accomplishments, announced proudly in daily assemblies, stand as a testament to their dedication and skill.

Celebrated on 16th November, this grand ceremony recognized outstanding achievements in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities conducted in the school, motivating students to aim for excellence.

Celebrating Rainy Day helps kindergarten children understand the beauty and significance of rain in nature. Through fun activities like playing with umbrellas, wearing raincoats, and creating rain-themed crafts, they learn about the water cycle and the importance of rain for plants, animals, and humans.

Fancy Dress Competition was Organized for Kindergarten students, this lively and imaginative event encouraged young learners to express their creativity and confidence through unique costumes and themes.

Green Assembly for &”39;Conserve My Planet&”39; initiative aims to raise awareness among students about conserving energy resources and protecting our planet.
In our school, 120 students have been chosen as green ambassadors. On 21.09.24 , These Ambassadors are working throughout in various projects to bring in awareness about conserving energy in their day to day activities.

The school organized a three-day educational trip for Grade 10 students to Chikmagalur, Sringeri, Horanadu, Belur, Halebeedu, and Shravanabelagola. This trip provided students with an enriching opportunity to explore historical and cultural landmarks while offering a much-needed break to alleviate the stress and anxiety associated with board exam preparations.

The school proudly celebrated the 78th Independence Day On 15th August. The event began with a heartfelt flag hoisting ceremony and a spirited March Past.

Esteemed guests Dr. K.U. Ravishankar and Dr. Uma Ravishankar enriched the occasion with their inspiring addresses. 

Students of all ages displayed their patriotism through captivating drills and vibrant cultural performances, including dances and songs.

The energy and dedication of our students made the day truly special, reflecting their unwavering love for the nation.

Investiture Ceremony was held on 10th July with great fervour, the event was presided over by School President Ln.Nagarajan Sreenivasan. It marked the official appointment of the newly elected School Council members, who solemnly pledged to uphold their responsibilities and lead with integrity.

Kargil Vijay Diwas Was celebrated On 26th July, the school honored the bravery of Kargil heroes with a special assembly featuring a heartfelt dance tribute. Subedar RajuI, a Kargil veteran and NCC teacher, inspired everyone with his heroic experiences.

Teacher’s Day was Celebrated on 5th September, this day was filled with gratitude, creativity, and admiration, as students expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the mentors shaping their future. 

Celebrated on November 22nd, this event embraced Karnataka’s vibrant culture, heritage, and pride through enthralling performances and meaningful activities that united the school community.

Conducted on 17th and 18th November, the meet showcased exceptional athletic talent, determination, and teamwork, instilling values of perseverance and fair play.

Lion’s School introduced the Kreedo Lab, an activity-based experiential learning program for kindergarten students. Kreedo transforms early learning with a play-based, child- centric curriculum that nurtures creativity, critical thinking, and social-emotional skills.
Through individualized learning, we prepare children for a dynamic, globally connected future laying a strong foundation for holistic development.

Colours Day was a vibrant and joyful event at our kindergarten, designed to introduce our little ones to the wonderful world of colours. These special days allowed the children to explore, recognize, and appreciate the importance of colours in their daily lives.
The celebration was filled with fun activities such as painting, sorting colourful objects, and singing rhymes about colours. Each child and the teacher were dressed in a specific colour, creating a delightful rainbow of energy and enthusiasm.
Through these playful activities, children learn how colours enhance creativity, symbolize emotions, and make the world a beautiful place. It was a day full of learning, laughter, and colourful memories!

Market Day introduces young learners to the basics of buying, selling, and the concept of money. Children role-play as shopkeepers and customers, helping them develop social, communication, and math skills while understanding the importance of markets in everyday life.

The School Management organized a career counselling session for Grade 9 and 10 students on 21st November, led by Mr. Belur Shankar and officers from the Armed Forces. The session aimed to help students explore career opportunities in the Armed Services.
Additionally, counselling sessions for Grade 10 students, teachers, and parents were conducted by the NGO “Mind and Matter” in collaboration with NIMHANS.

Recently, a series of workshops were conducted by various skilled resource persons, focusing on diverse topics such as

visual thinking, storytelling, time management, and emotional intelligence.
These initiatives aim to equip educators with essential competencies to excel in their teaching careers.
