Mysore West Lions Sevaniketan School has become a part of a wonderful flower Carpet Competition, on 27th October 2023. The floral Carpet is also known as Pookkalam, is made out of the gathered blossoms with several varieties of flowers of differing tints Pinched up into little pieces to design and decorate patterns on floor like a flower mat. Tradition of decorating Pookalam is extremely popular in Kerala.

This Competition was for grade VIII, IX & X students. The Criteria for the judgement was based on symmetry, colour-combination and presentation. The students actively took part in this activity.
